Vintage, Antiques, And Treasures Make Up Market On Old Northside

July 14, Indiana Landmarks presents Treasure Hunt, an exploration of Indianapolis’ Old Northside.  At Indiana Landmarks Center, 1201 Central Ave., more than 16 antique dealers will set up booths on the parking lot (indoors in the event of rain), with additional rummage and information booths.  Yard sales will take place throughout the neighborhood and the Morris-Butler House will host vintage games on the lawn.

Visitors to the free event will find music on the plaza and an art show in the gallery, with self-guided tours of the $19 million restoration.  Food trucks will also be on hand to make sure no one goes hungry.   Treasure Hunt runs from 9:00am to 2:00pm.  Admission is free.

Indiana Landmarks revitalizes communities, reconnects us to our heritage, and saves meaningful places. With ten offices located throughout the state, Indiana Landmarks helps people rescue endangered landmarks and restore historic neighborhoods and downtowns. People who join Indiana Landmarks receive its bimonthly magazine, Indiana Preservationist.
