Holiday World Celebrates 4th with 3 Days of Fireworks

June 29, 2015 by Naptown Buzz

Drew-CharacterGlasses

Visitors to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari this Friday through Sunday will end their day at the park with a patriotic fireworks celebration.

The 15-minute 4th of July Fireworks show will begin shortly after Holiday World closes for the evening each night, at 9:00pm CDT (10:00pm EDT) on Friday and Sunday and at 10:00pm CDT on Saturday, July 4th.

The fireworks will be launched from the northeast side of the park. Although Holiday World guests should be able to see the display from throughout the park, the best place to view the fireworks will be from the Thanksgiving section and the Hyena Falls portion of Splashin' Safari.

These three evenings, souvenir 3D Fireworks Glasses will be available free of charge for viewing the fireworks with an added dimension. Character masks to wear over the 3D glasses will also be available for a nominal fee.

New this season is an optional 4th of July Buffet, with an all-you-can-eat picnic in the park's 4th of July section.

Holiday World is the only park in the nation with a “4th of July” themed section.

Following this holiday weekend, Holiday World will resume its popular Friday Night Fireworks celebrations throughout July.

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari are open daily. For more information, visit HolidayWorld.com or call 1-877-463-2645.
