Clint Black To Perform On Kentucky Derby Eve

March 6, 2017 by Naptown Buzz

Renowned country music artist Clint Black will headline the fourth annual Fillies & Lilies Party on Friday, May 5th. Taking place on the grounds of Churchill Downs® at the Kentucky Derby® Museum, Fillies & Lillies is one of the most prominent social events of Derby week in Louisville.

The public is invited to join Derby Experiences, the Official Package Provider to Churchill Downs, for a night of fine-dining cuisine, drinks and entertainment. Doors to the Fillies & Lilies Party will open at 7:30 p.m., just after the final race of the Kentucky Oaks® program.

Held annually, the Fillies & Lilies party has featured a host of celebrities in the past, including Pro Football Hall of Famers Warren Moon, Thurman Thomas and Shannon Sharpe, who attended last year's event, and were on hand to take pictures and sign autographs with guests. Jockey Johnny Velasquez, the leading money-earning jockey in the history of the sport, attended the party in 2015.

The Fillies & Lilies Party will feature premium open bars, heavy hors d'oeuvres, a bourbon lounge and gourmet food stations as attendees enjoy the allure of the Kentucky Derby Museum and its exhibits depicting the history of America's oldest continuously held sporting event.

“Fillies & Lillies is one of the exciting, star-studded parties during Derby weekend that make the Kentucky Derby not just America's greatest horse race, but also one of the most exciting entertainment events in the world,” said Ryan Jordan, General Manager of Churchill Downs.

Tickets for the Fillies& Lilies party are available at $599 per person at DerbyExperiences.com or by calling 888-384-7088.
