Thanks to everyone who came out last weekend to make it an excellent opening night. Your feedback was greatly appreciated. Fans this week will see some adjustments this time around. There will be additional ticket selling and ticket taking staff to help those late arrivers enter the facility. We have added more cooking capacity from concessions to fill the need for food faster. Also, there will be more beverage stations and some of those new locations will have some of your favorite foods available too.
On the track, the Late Model division buzz continues to grow as several seasoned competitors are set to make their 2017 Speedrome debut on the famed oval and Figure 8 courses. Will the spirited battle continue between “T-Time” Ben Tunny and the “Big Cat” Casey White? Can last week’s Figure 8 winner John Conner Jr topple the pack once again? There were some rising stars that looked good in the opener. This Saturday could be the time for someone to break through for a first division feature win.
The Lawrence Towing Factory Front Wheel Drives had 34 machines on hand for round one and boy did they put on a show. Former champ Don VanValkenburg took the win, but things will be different this time as a back of the pack start looms. The race for victory lane is wide open as so many drivers have the goods to reach the promise land on Saturday nights in 2017. Join us for these and even more thrilling stories this weekend at the Indianapolis Speedrome!
