IMPD Homicide detectives are investigating a triple homicide on the city’s east side

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives investigate after three people were found deceased in a home on the city’s east side.

On June 1, 2017, just before 10:00 a.m., officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 1800 block of Forsythia Drive reference a person down. When officers arrived they found three individuals who were deceased inside the residence. Homicide detectives were called and they immediately began investigating this case.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances of what lead up to this incident. The cause of death will be determined by the Marion County Coroner’s Office. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency were called to process the crime scene for possible forensic evidence. Detectives are looking for a Red 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo bearing Indiana license plate number: 328AES which was taken from the home of the homicide. The detectives have not released any additional details to include possible suspect descriptions. The decedent’s names will be available through the Marion County Coroner’s Office once proper next-of-kin notification has been made.
