After more flurries throughout the day today and highs in the upper 20s to middle 30s, accumulating snow returns tonight generally south of I-70.
Snowfall totals of 1 to over 2 inches are expected across parts of southern Indiana, and a Winter Weather Advisory will run from 7 pm today to 7 am Tuesday.
Slick spots on roads are possible early this morning from black ice after flurries overnight fell on below freezing surfaces, and slick roads will return tonight where the snow develops over southern Indiana.
Be prepared for slick spots especially on untreated roads, bridges and overpasses this morning. Overnight flurries and sub freezing road temperatures combined to produce some patchy black ice on some central Indiana roadways. #INwx pic.twitter.com/D0SlwLQCgS
