Unsettled weather will return to central Indiana today through Wednesday evening as an increasingly moist and unstable atmosphere combines with a strong approaching cold front and upper disturbance.

Cooler, dry and less humid weather will follow starting Thursday.

A few storms Wednesday could be marginally severe with damaging winds the main severe threat.

Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. South wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. South southwest wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
