The Georgia Street and Capitol Avenue food trucks will be open Wednesday, 5 pm – 11 pm, Thursday – Saturday, 11 am – 11 pm with an hour change over between 4 – 5 pm, and Sunday, 11 am – 5 pm.

The NEW South Street location between the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium will be serving hungry gamers Thursday – Saturday, from 11 am – 5 pm daily.

Gen Con 50 Is Officially SOLD OUT

Gen Con 50 badges are now completely sold out. The convention will not sell badges on-site and attendees, as in prior years, will be asked to display their badges while attending the show.

“Our team is ecstatic to see so many choose to celebrate gaming history with us at the historic Gen Con 50,” said Adrian Swartout, Gen Con CEO. “In this milestone year, we have seen gamers from around the world decide to make Gen Con their summer destination, and we’re anticipating our best show yet. We’ve made optimizing the attendee experience a core goal for Gen Con 50, and we are committed to balancing growth with world-class programming.”

The Gen Con Seattle office is now closed, as the team is currently in Indianapolis preparing for Gen Con 50! If you have a Customer Service need, please visit on-site Customer Service at the Indiana Convention Center. Customer Service will open at noon on Wednesday, August 16 and remain open 24 hours per day through the duration of the convention. Due to travel and set-up, the Customer Service team will not be able to respond to calls or emails.

Will Call also will open at noon on Wednesday, August 16, and is open 24 hours per day until Sunday, August 20 at 3 pm. Please remember your ID for packet pick-up. Will Call has been expanded for 2017, and the team looks forward to rapidly processing your orders.

Gen Con 50 4-Day Badges Are SOLD OUT; Saturday Badges Will Sell Out Soon

If you want to purchase a Saturday badge for Gen Con 50, this is your final reminder, as they’re anticipated to sell out soon! You can order yours on gencon.com. Limited quantities of Thursday, Friday, and Sunday (Family Fun) badges are also available while supplies last.

Gen Con will attempt to alert attendees to approaching sell outs of other single-day badge types. However, given the pace of Gen Con 50 badge sales, this may not be possible with each badge type.

Gen Con 50 SELLS OUT of 4-Day Badges, Limited Single-Day Badges Remain

INDIANAPOLIS (July 6, 2017) – Gen Con, the largest and longest-running hobby gaming convention in North America, has announced a sellout of 4-Day badges for Gen Con 50, its historic 50th convention to be held August 17-20. Sales of single-day badges (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Family Fun) will continue at gencon.com, though supplies are limited. The company urges those interested in attending to purchase these badges soon, as single-day badges also are expected to reach a sellout.

Due to these expected sellouts, Gen Con will not offer on-site badge sales at Gen Con 50. Any remaining attendee-type badges will be available for sale at gencon.com with will call pick-up. As in prior years, Gen Con will offer 24-hour will call, starting at noon on Wednesday, August 16 and staying open throughout the entire convention. The will call area also will expand to expedite the packet pick-up process.

“Though 4-Day badges have sold out for Gen Con 50 there are still many opportunities to attend the convention and take part in the celebration,” said Adrian Swartout, CEO/Owner of Gen Con LLC. “Family Fun Day badges provide a great opportunity for visitors who wish to sample the show for the first time. Anyone still interested in attending Gen Con 50 should purchase their badges soon.”

Family Fun Day, held on Sunday, August 20, allows a family of four to attend for $45. Children ages 8-and-under are free to attend any day of Gen Con with a child wristband.
Gen Con has capped Trade Day and some individual badge types previously in Indianapolis, but has never limited its 4-Day or single-day badge sales.

Gen Con 50 will take place August 17-20, 2017 in the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and participating hotels. The convention will feature more than 500 exhibitors, more than 19,000 events, and an exclusive concert from Grammy Award-winning recording artist They Might Be Giants.
