January 16
MLK Jr. Day
Free/Community Day
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
In celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Conner Prairie Interactive History Park will be open to the public free of charge. In honor of King’s commitment to community and education, guests can participate in rousing science activities in Science Lab, take a tour of the historic Conner Homestead, create a card for soldiers overseas, and play famous African American bingo. Guests can also participate in the “We Are Alike” people quilt in Craft Corner, where paper dolls are decorated and joined hand-to-hand with others, or let their imaginations run wild and explore multiple activities in Discovery Station.
Guests are encouraged to bring a canned good item for donation to help support the Indiana Food Bank.
