Visitors to the Indiana State Fair this year will be educated on more than sweet corn and dairy cows. Learn More Indiana’s college-themed booth located in the Toyota Expo Hall will provide information about Indiana’s public and private colleges, college admissions and financial aid processes, as well as interactive games and prizes for younger visitors. The booth is open all 17 days of the State Fair, which runs Aug. 3-19.
“Our State Fair booth is a great place for Hoosier students to start exploring their college options,” said Commissioner for Higher Education Teresa Lubbers. “With many college application deadlines approaching this fall, now is the perfect time to plan your college path. And, for younger students, it’s never too early to start making your college and career plans and learning how to make them a reality.”
Visitors will be able to talk to representatives from Indiana colleges and take home information about Learn More Indiana and its free resources for students and families, including print publications for students of all ages, online resources at LearnMoreIndiana.org, and a toll-free helpline for all college questions at 1-800-992-2076.
Led by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, Learn More Indiana is a partnership of state and local organizations working together to help Hoosiers of all ages plan, prepare and pay for college completion and career success.
