At first glance, Future Weather comes across as a political manifesto about global warming and how it is up to us to change it before it is too late… We quickly learn though that Future Weather is not about the climate of the world, it is a reflection on the climate of our lives. Filmmaker Jenny Deller takes us to a town of choices and consequences where we meet Tanya, Laduree, and Greta. Through their abandonments and struggles, we learn that, in fact, we are in control of our own survival.
