Fans won’t want to delay being in their seats for the start of the Indianapolis Indians Apr. 9 season opener as Josh Kaufman will sing the National Anthem. Kaufman vaulted to national stardom last spring when he won Season Six of the hit television show The Voice. Kaufman is an Indianapolis resident with ties to central Indiana including attending Anderson University, graduating from IUPUI, and as a former teacher at Ben Davis High School.

Game tickets are not part of Bike to the Ballpark but can be purchased in advance or on the day of the game.
· 60-Degree Weather Guarantee. Along with WTHR-TV, the official weather media partner of the Tribe, the Indians guarantee the outside temperature will be at least 60 degrees at game time or fans in attendance may exchange their ticket that night for any other April home game.
· Postgame Fireworks Show. Immediately following the game, and with the beautiful downtown Indianapolis skyline as a backdrop, the night sky over Victory Field will come to life with a fireworks spectacular – the first of 14 this season.
