The Eagle Creek Park Foundation invites children ages 4-14 to one of the nation’s largest municipal parks for a free-fishing day, Saturday, June 6, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Kids can fish license-free and enjoy the great outdoors with a cookout, door prizes, goody bags, the Pacers Fan Van and more!
Participants are encouraged to bring their own fishing equipment, although a limited number of rods and reels will be available to borrow. Bait is provided. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-registration is required; deadline is June 4 at 5 p.m. Registration forms are available at the Eagle Creek Park office, or online at EagleCreekPark.org. Space is limited!
In the event of severe weather, the derby will be moved to Sunday, June 7.
