The Gwinnett Braves had an answer for every rally from the Indianapolis Indians on Wednesday night, and the Braves emerged with an 8-5 win over the Tribe. The Indians tied the game with two outs in the top of the sixth, but Gwinnett would score three unanswered runs to seal the victory.
Adonis Garcia’s two-run double proved to be the go-ahead hit in the game in the bottom of the sixth. The Tribe (42-31) have now lost six games in a row, but remain 11 games above the .500 mark. The Braves (36-35) moved above the .500 mark with the win. Gorkys Hernandez paced the Tribe offense with three RBIs.
