Ramon Cabrera drove home the go-ahead run with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning to lead the Louisville Bats (42-44) to a 3-2 victory over the Indianapolis Indians (51-35) on Tuesday night at Slugger Field.
Brent Morel erased a two-run deficit in the sixth for the Indians, lifting a two-run shot for his ninth homer of the season and the only runs of the game for the Tribe.
Cincinnati Reds left-hander Tony Cingrani worked three scoreless frames in a rehabilitation start with Louisville and Jose De La Torre (5-3) picked up the win in relief. Indians starter Wilfredo Boscan pitched five innings with two runs before Yhonathan Barrios (1-1) suffered his first defeat.
