On May 7th, 2016, the Indianapolis Tornados kick off their 2016 minor league football season with a highly anticipated match up with the Marion County Crusaders.
Despite sharing the Circle City, it will be the first time in franchise history that the two teams have faced each other. The Indianapolis Tornados play minor league football for the Premier Amateur Football League (PAFL) whereas the Crusaders play in the Minor League Football Alliance (MFLA). This will be the only out-of-league opponent on the Tornados schedule this season. The Tornados PAFL schedule begins on May 14th.
The teams will kick off at 7pm under the lights at Arsenal Tech High School on a football field installed by the National Football League as part of the Super Bowl’s legacy project. Gates open at 6:30 PM. Tickets are just $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free.
