The Caipirinha is Brazil’s national cocktail, made with cachaça, sugar and lime. While cachaça isn’t a staple here in the States, tequila is, and we have a new take on the Brazilian favorite which you can enjoy while watching the summer games. Say hello to the Caipiruila!
Caipiruila
- 1 ½ parts Hornitos® Plata Tequila
- 1 lime, quartered
- 3 tsp. sugar
- Splash of club soda
Preparation: Place lime and sugar into an old fashioned glass and muddle the ingredients. Fill the glass with crushed ice and add Hornitos® Plata. Add a splash of club soda and serve.
