Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force are investigating after a bank was robbed on the city’s Northwest side.
On 07/22/2016, just before 6 p.m., IMPD officers were dispatched to the Teacher’s Credit Union in the 5100 block of W 71st St, on reports of a Bank Robbery. Officers arrived and confirmed that the bank had been robbed and that the suspect had fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was described as being a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’10” to 6′ tall, 170 to 200lbs, wearing a red baseball hat, gray short sleeved t-shirt, and blue shorts.
