IMPD Encourages Community Involvement for National Night Out August 2
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) invites neighborhoods in the city of Indianapolis to participate in and celebrate, National Night Out (NNO) being held Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
IMPD Reminds Motorists About School Zones
Monday, August 1st is the first day of school for the Indianapolis Public Schools and many of Marion County school districts have already headed back to school or will be heading back in the coming weeks. IMPD, along with cooperating school district police, will be out enforcing school zone speed limits.
Victory Field to Host First-Ever Yoga Class, Aug. 7
The Indianapolis Indians will host the inaugural Yoga in the Outfield on Sunday, August 7, prior to the 1:35 p.m. game between the Indians and Toledo Mud Hens.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 46-year-old male after officers find him shot at least one time.
UPDATE: 2 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured After a Shooting in the 2300 Block of Magnolia Place (July 2)
IMPD homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a possible suspect involved in the shooting that left two people dead and a child seriously injured.
