Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) East District Flex Team officers receive anonymous tip that leads to large amount of dangerous narcotics being taken off the street, as well as $10k in cash, and multiple arrests.
East District Day Flex received an anonymous tip from a citizen in the community about narcotics dealing in the 1100 Block of North Olney St. During the course of the investigation, the information given to IMPD from one of our community partners was verified. Evidence was gathered that the main target, 34-year-old Willie Bailey, was allegedly transporting and selling narcotics near the address given. Probable cause for dealing and possession was found and two search warrants were reviewed and granted by a Marion County Judge for the following locations:
12400 block of Old Stone Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46236
1100 block of N Olney St, Indianapolis, IN 46201
Early Friday morning (02/24/2017), the following IMPD units executed simultaneous search warrants: East District Day Flex Team, Southeast District Flex Team, IMPD & Marion County Sheriff’s Office Gang units, East District Narcotics Unit, and IMPD Interdiction Unit.
During the execution of the warrants, a total of 7 arrests were made, with some of the arrested individuals having warrants. More evidence of alleged dealing and possession of narcotics were obtained from both houses in the search warrant.
Items seized during the search:
- $10,000 US currency
- Suspected heroin (appx 1 ounce), cocaine (appx 1 ounce), and marijuana (appx 25grams)
- Drug paraphernalia and syringes
- 3 vehicles
- 1 motorcycle
Persons arrested:
- Willie Bailey (34) 12400 Old Stone (Dealing/possession of narcotics, child endangerment)
- Rebecca Goins (31) 12400 Old Stone (Dealing/possession of narcotics, child endangerment)
- Alyssa Masengale (23) 1100 N Olney (Dealing/possession of narcotics, paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance)
All other arrests were tied to maintaining a common nuisance at 1100 N Olney and various outstanding warrant arrests:
- Sarah Fischman (23)
- Chelsea Wolkoff (24)
- Claire Boulais (23)
- Tiana Anderson (25)
All charges are preliminary and all suspects were transported to the Arrestee Processing Center for booking. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the charges and make a final charging decision.
Narcotics detectives and Flex Team officers across the city continue to address incoming complaints from the community and identify narcotics activity through their own independent investigations.
