Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Sex Crimes detectives have completed their investigation and two men have been charged for alleged acts of public nudity in separate, unrelated incidents on or near the Monon Trail. 38-year-old Brandon Whitacre of Indianapolis is accused of exposing his genitals to women on February 10th and February 11th. 18-year-old Paul McDonald of Indianapolis is accused of exposing his genitals to women on January 9th and January 16th. McDonald was identified as a suspect after IMPD released a photo provided by the victims to the media and crime stoppers.
Brandon Whitacre has been charged with two counts of Public Indecency (Level 6 Felonies) and one count of Public Nudity (Class A Misdemeanor).
Paul McDonald has been charged with two counts of Public Nudity (Class A Misdemeanors).
Whitacre was arrested on February 16th, 2017 on the above charges. He was later transported to the Arrestee Processing Center for booking. Paul McDonald was arrested earlier this morning (2/24/17) after turning himself into IMPD Headquarters with his attorney
