Marion Co — Indiana Conservation Officers Operational District Six announced the promotion of Jet Quillen.
Officer Quillen will be promoted to the rank of Corporal, effective March 12. Jet is an 8 year veteran of the State. He is originally from Brown County, but has worked Marion County since he was hired in 2009. Jet is very active as an officer, having many specialties. He is a Certified Master Diver Instructor, Public Information Officer, Field Training Officer, Sonar Operator and Certified Breath Test Operator. On top of those specialties, he is often called upon to instruct various courses for our division. He currently lives in Marion County with his wife and five children.
Jet will be one of two Corporals in the District. Corporals are the first line supervisors of the twenty officers in District Six. District Six comprises of nine counties in Central Indiana. (Hancock, Marion, Hendricks, Morgan, Johnson, Bartholomew, Shelby, Brown and Monroe)
