INDIANAPOLIS – Friday (4/21/17) at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) SWAT team executed a narcotics search warrant, without incident, at a house in the 3300 block of Orchard Ave.
IMPD North District Narcotic and Flex teams worked collaboratively to build a narcotics case against 19-year-old Ronald “Doodie” Eldridge who was the identified target. IMPD Narcotics and Flex teams while conducting covert surveillance on the target were able to stop and detain him away from the home. Minutes later is when the SWAT team made entry into the target house.
Upon entry into the house, the SWAT team detained 20-year-old Dujuan Terry, 24-year-old Richard Wells, and 26-year-old Brittany Davidson.
Narcotics and Flex teams seized the following items from inside the home:
- 17 grams of suspected cocaine
- 7 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl
- 6 grams of 30mg suspected Oxycontin
- 6 grams of 20mg suspected Oxycontin
- 1 AR15 pistol
- 4 semi-auto pistols
- $1,527.00
- 1 vehicle
Note – 3 of the 5 firearms were reported stolen from Illinois, Indiana, and Tennessee.
Ronald “Doodie” Eldridge, Dujuan Terry and Richard Wells were arrested on preliminary charges of dealing and possession of cocaine and heroin, possession of cocaine with a firearm and maintaining a common nuisance.
Brittany Davidson was arrested for visiting a common nuisance.
All suspects were transported to the Arrestee Processing Center to be processed on the preliminary charges. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the investigative finding to make a charging decision.
