INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives have arrested and preliminarily charged 23-year-old Dion Johnson for the murder 28-year-old Terrance Hill that occurred on 04/07/2017 in the 4200 block of Lake Park Blvd.
The suspect turned himself into the Arrestee Processing Center with his attorney on Friday night. He is currently being held on preliminary criminal charges of murder and carrying a handgun without a license both felony level charges. The suspect is currently being held in the Marion County Jail. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the investigative notes for charging decision. Detectives have not yet determined a motive and are still actively investigating the circumstances of this investigation.

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide detectives have identified a suspect in the murder of 28-year-old Terrance Hill that occurred on April 7, 2017.
The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Dion Johnson, who currently has an active warrant for murder. Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Johnson. If you see him, DO NOT APPROACH. Call 911 immediately.

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) homicide detectives are investigating after a man is found dead on the city’s southeast side.
On Friday 4.7.17 just before 7:30 a.m., Southeast District officers with IMPD responded to the 4200 block of Lake Park Blvd. When officers arrived they located an adult male inside the apartment suffering from undisclosed trauma.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and began to investigate, and canvas the area for possible witnesses. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency processed the scene for forensics evidence that could aid investigators. The Marion County Coroner’s Office will determine a cause and manner of death after they perform an autopsy.
