Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide detectives are on-scene of a death investigation where a body was discovered.
Just after 6:30 p.m. on April 11, 2017, officers with the IMPD were dispatched to the 3700 block of Baltimore Ave for a death investigation. Responding officers met with the complainant who located a deceased subject that was inside a vacant residence.
Homicide detectives responded and began canvassing the area for witnesses. Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to assist with identifying and collecting possible forensic evidence. The Marion County Coroner’s Office will be assisting in identifying the subject and determining the exact cause and manner of death.
