INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Robbery detectives seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect who fought and tied up an elderly female during a home invasion robbery.
Just after 6 p.m. on April 19, 2017, officers with the IMPD were dispatched to the 9200 block of Camby Rd on reports of a home invasion robbery. Responding officers located a female victim in her 70’s, suffering from minor injuries. EMS personnel responded and transported the victim to IU West Hospital.
Robbery detectives responded and learned that the suspect, 34-year-old Jeremy Clark, who has done yard work for the victim in the past, allegedly came into the victim’s house, pushed her to the ground, fought with her and then bound her hands. Clark then allegedly stole debit/credit cards, cash, and the victim’s 2011 Chevy Equinox and fled from the area. After he left, the victim was able to chew her way through the binding and call for help. A short time later the victim’s vehicle was recovered in a parking lot in the 5800 block of W 10th St.
Clark was described as 5’07”, 190lbs, with a full beard and mustache, wearing a white shirt, brown shorts, and dark colored shoes. He was last seen in the area of 5800 W 10th St around 7 p.m.. He is believed to be armed and dangerous. DO NOT APPROACH. Call 911 immediately if you him.
