Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) homicide detectives are investigating after a man is found dead on the city’s southeast side.
On Friday 4.7.17 just before 7:30 a.m., Southeast District officers with IMPD responded to the 4200 block of Lake Park Blvd. When officers arrived they located an adult male inside the apartment suffering from undisclosed trauma.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and began to investigate, and canvas the area for possible witnesses. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency processed the scene for forensics evidence that could aid investigators. The Marion County Coroner’s Office will determine a cause and manner of death after they perform an autopsy.
