Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) maintenance crews plan the following overnight interstate lane and ramp closures for guardrail repairs in the downtown Indianapolis area this week. Road work schedules are dependent on favorable weather. Dates and times are approximate and subject to change.
Starting on Monday, April 17 at 9 p.m. until 3 a.m., the southbound I-65 right lane and the Exit 113 ramp to Meridian Street will be closed on the north side of downtown. After repairs at this location are complete, crews plan to move to the south side of downtown early Tuesday morning.
At about 3 a.m. until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, the eastbound I-70 Exit 79B ramp to Illinois Street will be closed. The eastbound I-70 Exit 79B ramp to McCarty Street will remain open.
Starting Tuesday at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., the southbound I-65 left lane will be closed between the I-70 north (Exit 112) and south (Exit 110) splits.
Starting on Wednesday, April 19 at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., the northbound I-65 left lane will be closed between the I-70 south (Exit 110) and north (Exit 112) splits.
Starting on Thursday, April 20 at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., the right lane will be closed on the southbound I-65 Exit 110B ramp to westbound I-70 at the south split.
