Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect.
Just after 3 p.m. on March 31, 2017, officers with the IMPD were dispatched to the Old National Bank in the 5500 block of Lafayette Rd, on reports of a robbery that had just occurred. Responding officers arrived and met with the complainant. FBI Violent Crimes Task Force was then notified and obtained the attached still images.
The depicted black male walked into the Old National Bank and proceeded to display a black handgun and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money in a black bag, exited the bank, and walked out the front door in a southeast direction.
