Just before Noon., on May 2, 2017, officers with IMPD were dispatched to the 1400 Block of Weber Dr. reference a death investigation. The caller stated that he was on his way to fish when he noticed a male in the woods. When officers arrived they located an adult male who was deceased. Due to the suspicious nature, homicide detectives were called to scene.
Homicide detectives responded and began investigating the case. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to assist with identifying and collecting possible forensic evidence. At this time, detectives are trying to gather information on what caused the death. The Marion County Coroner’s Office will make identification after next of kin has been notified.
