Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide detectives continue to investigate the after a fatal shooting in the 5600 block of W. 38th St. On May 23, 2017, 18-year-old Dijon Anderson succumbed to his injuries.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two persons of interest in a homicide that occurred on May 6th, 2017.
The attached flyers contain still images from surveillance video which depicts the two persons of interest. They are wanted for questioning at this time.
Person #1 is described as a Hispanic male with dark hair, wearing a white hoodie, blue coat with white stripes down the sleeves, black pants, and black and white flip flops.
Person #2 is described as a male, possibly Hispanic, wearing a dark blue or black hoodie with “GAP” in blue and white letters on the front, red shirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers.
The pair were last seen running west and then south around the west end of the strip mall.

Just after 12 a.m. on May 6, 2017, officers with the IMPD were dispatched to the 5600 block of W 38th St on reports of a person shot. Responding officers located three male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other two victims were transported to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition and stable condition, respectively.
Homicide detectives responded and began canvassing the area for witnesses. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to assist with identifying and collecting possible forensic evidence. The name of the deceased victim will be available through the Marion County Coroner’s Office after positive identification and proper next-of-kin notification has been made. This is an ongoing and active investigation.
