The Indianapolis Indians and Victory Field have announced an autograph session with Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Donte Moncrief before the 9th Annual Caroline Symmes Memorial Celebrity Softball Challenge on Thursday, June 15, 2017. The autograph signing starts when gates open at 5:30 p.m. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Last month the Indians announced former Indianapolis Colts Robert Mathis and Pat McAfee, plus current Colt T.Y. Hilton and Indiana Pacer Paul George, are already slated to play in the game, with more Indy sports stars and media personalities to be announced. The Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers are presenting sponsors of the event, with proceeds benefiting Indiana Children’s Wish Fund.
Fans attending the Donte Moncrief autograph signing should arrive at Victory Field before the gates open at 5:30 p.m. The session is available to the first 200 people in line. Fans are limited to one autograph per person. No posed pictures will be allowed due to time constraints, but fans can take pictures during the signing.
Indiana Children’s Wish Fund grants wishes to Indiana children, ages 3 -18, who suffer from life-threatening illnesses. The Celebrity Softball Challenge is played in memory of Caroline Symmes, a Wish child who was involved with the inaugural event and passed away in December 2009.
Tickets are $10, but children 3 and under get in free. To purchase tickets, call the Victory Field Box Office at 317-269-3545 or visit IndyIndians.com/celebritysoftball. For more information about the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund, go to indywish.org.
