Detectives were notified a short time later that a possible suspect vehicle had been located and that the driver identified as 47-year-old Maurice Webster was walking back to the scene. Upon the suspect’s arrival back at the scene, it was determined that he was the driver of the deadly hit-and-run crash and he was arrested on a preliminary criminal charge of leaving the scene of an accident causing a fatality. The suspect was transported to the Arrestee Processing Center where he is currently being held.
