INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI Director of Athletics Luke Bosso announced the firing of IUPUI’s head men’s basketball coach Matt Crenshaw, effective immediately.
In his three seasons in the official head coaching roll of the IUPUI Jaguars he was 14-79 (.151) overall, and 5-50 (.091) in Horizon League conference play.
This season, IUPUI went 6-26 (.186) overall, and 2-18 (.100) in the Horizon League. IUPUI handed Detroit Mercy their only win of the season.
In the opening round of the Horizon League Tournament yesterday, IUPUI lost to Cleveland St. 85-66 in front of a crowd of 1,333 at Henry J. Goodman Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
