Esquire Gone From PlayStation Vue Access & Core Plans

As of Wednesday 1/25/2017, the Esquire channel will no longer be available in the Access and Core plans. Esquire will continue to be available in the Elite and Ultra plans.

For those on the West Coast who subscribe to Elite or Ultra, the Esquire channel will now be available in HD (making Esquire available in HD everywhere that Vue offers service). As part of this change, if Esquire was added to your Favorite Channels, you will need to re-favorite it. Additionally, your previously saved Esquire DVR content in My Shows will no longer be available, but Esquire On Demand programming will continue as normal – now just in HD.

BCP to Hold Open Auditions for BONNIE & CLYDE: THE MUSICAL January 30 & 31

Director D. Scott Robinson and Vocal Directors Steven R. Linville and Jill Stewart are looking for a diverse group of 10 men, 9 women, 1 boy (age 8-12) and 1 girl (age 8-12) . All roles are available.
Everyone auditioning should prepare 16-32 bars of a prepared song. Please bring sheet music in the correct key.  An accompanist will be provided. You may be asked to read from the script or to sing from the score.

BONNIE & CLYDE: THE MUSICAL is scheduled for nine performances, weekends June 9-25, 2017. Please bring a list of all conflicts from April 2017 through June 2017. Rehearsals are tentatively set to begin in early April 2017.

Auditions will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Avenue on Monday & Tuesday, January 30 & 31, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.. No appointments necessary.

Zedd and Marshmello to Headline 2017 Indy 500 Snake Pit

The Indy 500 Snake Pit Presented by Coors Light is proud to announce the official lineup for 2017! EDM superstars ZEDD and MARSHMELLO will headline, along with support by RL GRIME, ACTION BRONSON, ADVENTURE CLUB and THE TRAP HOUSE, in addition to wrestling legend RIC FLAIR as the special emcee. Food Network Orders 13 Additional Episodes of “Ginormous Food”

Midway through the first season, Food Network announced today it has picked up 13 additional episodes of new primetime series, Ginormous Food, starring comedian and food fanatic Josh Denny, as he travels the country tasting the greatest and biggest dishes, while learning about the amazing stories and people behind them.

“The series launched to tremendous response from our viewers, so Josh Denny is packing up his suitcase and hitting the road to sample more audaciously big, mouthwatering dishes that you will have to see to believe,” said Didi O’Hearn, Senior Vice President Programming, Food Network and Cooking Channel.

Paul Anka to Perform at Clowes Memorial Hall March 30

Paul Anka, the voice and/or writer behind all-time classic hit songs such as “My Way,” “Diana,” “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” and “Puppy Love,” and the only performer to have a record on the Billboard Top 100 Chart in seven different decades, will celebrate 60 years of hits “his way” with a performance on Thursday, March 30, at 7:30 PM in Clowes Memorial Hall of the Butler Arts Center.

HI-FI Grand Reopening January 20th

Live music venue HI-FI, located in the popular Fountain Square neighborhood of Indianapolis, will re-open to the public on Friday, January 20 with a fresh look and expanded performance space increasing the venue capacity to 400 people. Indianapolis native Otis Gibbs will headline the grand reopening, beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $13 in advance ($15 at the door), available via Ticketfly or here.

The 30-day transformation, which included acquiring the space formerly occupied by local art gallery iMOCA, will accommodate the increase in both visitors and touring artists. With the new venue size, the HI-FI is now able to attract larger acts and provide a desirable mid-sized event space while continuing to grow with a neighborhood known for its art and music culture.

The growth will create an enhanced experience for visitors and artists with a dedicated artist green room, an expansive stage, new restroom facilities, a dedicated box office, additional seating, and upgraded sound and lighting systems.

“Our focus has always been on creating amazing live music experiences,” says HI-FI owner Josh Baker. “This expansion will allow us to hone in some key elements of that experience for our fans. With our focus on artist development, our expanded space will maintain its scalability allow us to expand and contract to suit a wide range of shows and artists including general admission and seated events.”

“A room this size will fill a void in the Indy market and provide a good proving ground for bands looking to grow into Indy’s bigger rooms, like The Vogue,” said Jason King, Entertainment Manager at The Vogue and owner of IndyMoJo Presents.

HI-FI has been on a growth trajectory since opening its doors in 2014. The venue has averaged 160 shows annually and will have hosted more than 500 shows over the past three years. Shows are constantly being added to the ever-growing schedule.
