The unauthorized laugh-out-loud Harry Potter parody, Potted Potter, comes to the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre on Thursday, March 19, 2015 and runs through Sunday, March 22, 2015.

Hailed by The New York Times as “gloriously goofy,” Potted Potter casts a humorous spell on audiences worldwide. The uproarious two-man show, written by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, takes Harry Potter fans of all ages on a magical journey.

Starting as a simple sketch written to entertain readers in line for the release of “Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince,” the duo has since taken the live show to Australia, Dubai and Singapore. Weaving through character changes in ridiculous wigs and props, the duo even instructs guests to play a real-life game of quidditch. The team of Clarkson and Turner’s improvisational talent takes center stage, putting new twists and turns on familiar tales. As literary phenomenon J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” series has come to a close, Potted Potter gives readers of all ages something new to look forward to.

Soulshine Tour Relocated to ONC July 13th

soulshineDue to the potential severe weather forecast for Central Indiana on Sunday, July 13th, the Soulshine Tour will be moving to the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre.

The full 4 hour concert featuring Michael Franti & Spearhead, SOJA, Brett Dennen and Trevor Hall, as well as the afternoon yoga session and acoustic jam are scheduled to take place at the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre. All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new location.

Imagine DragonsThis year’s breakout rock band Imagine Dragons, who have captivated fans across the globe with their platinum-selling single “It’s Time,” will continue their bid for world domination with their first-ever headlining North American tour with Atlas Genius supporting. The band has announced a U.S. and Canadian Spring 2013 tour that includes a 7:30 p.m. stop February 28 at the Egyptian Room.

Imagine Dragons are touring n support of their full-length debut album Night Visions (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records) which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Album chart selling more than 83,000 copies — the best first-week sales for a full-length album by a new rock band since May 2006. Night Visions also climbed to No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Albums chart. In its review, Billboard said that Night Visions “delivers its share of high-gloss pleasures, including the beat-heavy ‘Bleeding Out,” the rousing ‘On Top of the World,’ and ‘Tiptoe,’ an appealingly mystical number…”

The success of Night Visions has been fueled not only by the band’s thrilling live show while touring the U.S. (with AWOLNATION) and overseas and high-profile TV appearances (The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live! The Vermont quintet rocked stadiums across the U.S. all summer as openers for the Brothers of The Sun tour, and now the band is ready to get back to the coveted headlining spot.
