Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon theme decks (affiliate link) are now available, weeks before the Sun & Moon expansion officially launches on February 3, 2017. Theme decks are a great introduction to playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game, providing everything you need to start battling. You’ll find a complete 60-card deck, damage counters, playmat, rulesheet, and more in each box. With a friend and a second theme deck, you can start playing right away.

2013 Pokémon U.S. National Championships, July 5 – 7
Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and video game players, supporters and fans from throughout the U.S. will descend upon Indianapolis for the 2013 Pokémon National Championships the weekend of July 5th – 7th. The Indiana Convention Center is hosting the open, family-friendly event where players of all ages and skill levels in good standing are encouraged to participate. Thousands will be in attendance, making this the largest Pokémon tournament of the year. Top players from the weekend will earn an invitation to the 2013 Pokémon World Championships being held this August in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. The action-packed weekend also includes a variety of additional activities, non-competitive play, and prerelease events.
Preregistration for Pokémon TCG players will take place from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 4th, with open registration taking place Friday, July 5th from 8:00 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. Preregistration for Pokémon video game players will take place on Friday, July 5th from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Open registration will then take place on Saturday, July 6th from 8:00 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. for the Masters Division and from 2:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. for Junior and Senior Divisions. Both TCG and video game play will continue through the weekend with finals for all divisions taking place on Sunday, July 7th.

2012 Pokémon Autumn Regional Championships
The Pokémon Autumn Regional Championships are coming to the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Saturday and Sunday, October 13th and 14th! The tournament is open to all Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and video game players in good standing and is a free event for all participants and supporters. The Autumn Regional Championships are the first of three Regional events across the U.S. and Canada in the 2012-2013 Play! Pokémon season that give players an opportunity to earn a travel award to their respective 2013 Pokémon National Championships (U.S. or Canada based on citizenship)! The Pokémon TCG and video game Autumn Regional Championships will take place together – one location, one weekend, one exciting event for the area’s top players! The Pokémon TCG Regional Championships begins Saturday, October 13th while the video game tournament will be played in its entirety on Sunday, October 14th.
Registration is held on-site, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday for Trading Card Game competitors and 9:30 a.m. on for Sunday for video game players. Tournament schedule, rules, regulations, and age divisions can be found at http://www.pokemon.com/play.
2012 Pokémon U.S. National Championships, June 29 through July 1
The Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN plays host to the largest Pokémon video game and Trading Card Game (TCG) tournament of the year—the 2012 Pokémon U.S. National Championships, Friday, June 29 – Sunday, July 1. Top players will earn invitations to the 2012 Pokémon World Championships held in Waikoloa, HI.
Play! Pokémon gives players of all ages and skill levels across the globe a chance to compete for prizes and the rights to call themselves a true Pokémon Trainer. Tournament Organizers hold sanctioned tournaments all over the world. These events are held regularly in game stores, and players compete for new and exclusive Promo cards. In addition, each player is able to track their rankings and rating online. These events, while competitive, offer regular, inexpensive organized play to everyone and are fun for players of all ages and skill levels.
The Pokémon TCG U.S. National Championships is a sanctioned title event open to U.S. resident players who have earned the requisite amount of Play! Points.
