Rob Gronkowski Returns as Indy 500 Snake Pit Grand Marshal

Four-time Super Bowl champion and FOX NFL analyst Rob Gronkowski is returning to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to reprise his role as the grand marshal of the Indy 500 Coors Light Snake Pit on Sunday, May 24.

The infield party, located adjacent to Turn 3 of the IMS oval, stands as one of the most unique electronic dance music festivals in the world. This year’s concert features a headline performance by multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Zedd. The morning lineup also includes Crankdat, Wooli, it’s murph, and Wax Motif.

Gronkowski, who retired from the NFL in 2022 after capturing titles with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, made his first trackside appearance at the event last year. His return aligns with the new broadcast partnership between IndyCar and FOX Sports, where Gronkowski serves as a regular studio analyst.

“The Indy 500 Coors Light Snake Pit is one of the coolest combinations of sports and music out there and in the ultimate venue,” Gronkowski said. “I had to come back to keep the party going and celebrate the biggest race in the world.”

Indy 500 Snake Pit Ticket and Entry Information

Performances begin early Sunday morning in the Turn 3 infield. Concert goers must meet specific track requirements for entry:
