GREENFIELD, Ind. (February 2026) — The 4th Wall Players will stage “Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier,” a musical parody based on Aladdin and originally created by Starkid Productions, at the H.J. Ricks Center for the Arts in Greenfield, Indiana, April 2-4.
Production Details
Katherine Gibson is directing the production with Tracy Fouts serving as her assistant. The company cautions that the show contains adult humor and may not be suitable for all audiences.
“One of the things I love about ‘Twisted,’” said Gibson, “is that, like ‘Wicked,’ it tells the “true” story of a misunderstood character. It asks the question “what if Ja’Far was just trying to fix the socio-economic issues of the kingdom while dealing with deep, personal heartbreak?” That being said, it is a very wild, completely obvious parody of many things Disney-related, but it contains very adult humor and is not suitable for kids.”
Cast & Rehearsals
Gibson expressed enthusiasm about the cast. “I am so excited about this cast, all of whom are very talented! It is a great mix of people who have worked with 4th Wall previously brand new faces. Everyone involved is very enthusiastic, and the rehearsal process has been loads of fun so far. I cannot wait for the audience to see all the hard work and love put into this show.”
Performance Schedule & Tickets
Performances are scheduled for Thursday, April 2nd and Friday, April 3rd at 7:30 p.m., with a Saturday matinee on April 4th at 2:30 p.m. All shows will be held at the H.J. Ricks Theatre in Greenfield.
Tickets are $20 and available for purchase at the door or online at https://www.4thwallplayers.org/tickets. Season tickets, covering admission to all four 4th Wall Players’ shows in 2026, are also available.
