The Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW) is monitoring weather conditions and deployed 80 plow trucks at 11 a.m. to begin treating roadways and monitoring road conditions ahead of forecasted snowfall this afternoon.

2019 Indianapolis Independence Day Week Sliding Schedule
Curbside recycling, residential and heavy trash will slide one day forward after Independence Day. Residents with normal pickup on Thursday will have service Friday, July 5. Residents with normal Friday pickup will have service on Saturday, July 6.
Indianapolis Trash & Recycling Collection Canceled January 30th & 31st 2019
With the forecasted below zero temperatures this week, all residential trash, heavy trash, and recycling collection will be canceled on Wednesday, January 30 and Thursday, January 31. Normal service will resume on Friday, February 1.
