Indianapolis curbside recycling, residential and heavy trash pickup service will operate on a slide schedule after the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 6, 2021.
In order to prioritize uninterrupted service of standard curbside trash collection, Indy DPW will suspend heavy trash service through Saturday, September 4 for those in DPW districts who normally see their heavy trash collection on the fourth and first weeks of the month.

Curbside recycling, residential and heavy trash will slide one day forward after Independence Day. Residents with normal pickup on Thursday will have service Friday, July 5. Residents with normal Friday pickup will have service on Saturday, July 6.
With the forecasted below zero temperatures this week, all residential trash, heavy trash, and recycling collection will be canceled on Wednesday, January 30 and Thursday, January 31. Normal service will resume on Friday, February 1.
