Gen Con Indy 2022 To Require Vaccine Passports, Masks
“Everyone participating in Gen Con Indy — including all attendees, exhibitors, gamemasters, event organizers, and event staff — will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved or authorized by the FDA or WHO, and proof of vaccination will be required to attend the convention and gain entry to the convention center.”
In addition to vaccine passports, “Everyone participating in Gen Con Indy — including all attendees, exhibitors, gamemasters, event organizers, and event staff — will be required to wear a mask in all indoor spaces unless actively eating or drinking in designated areas.”
Gen Con Indy 2022 will run August 4-7 in the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, celebrating 55 years of events since Gen Con’s founding in 1968.
Michigan Marching Band at Franklin Central High School December 4, 2021
The University of Michigan will be rehearsing for their performances at the Big 10 Football Championship Game on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 9:30-11:30 am, at the Franklin Central High School stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana!
For over 100 years, the Michigan Marching Band has thrilled thousands of fans with exciting performances that have made them one of the greatest college bands in the country. That tradition of excellence thrives today as the MMB continues its pursuit of the highest levels of visual and musical performance as it “takes the field” at the Big House in Ann Arbor.
The over 250 members of the Michigan Marching Band make up one of the PREMIER marching bands in the country and will be sure to entertain you, for FREE Saturday morning.
It will be chilly but sunny, so bring a cup of cocoa, a blanket, and come enjoy the show!

2021 DCI Celebration Indianapolis August 14th Schedule
On the final day of the unprecedented 2021 DCI Celebration Tour, Drum Corps International will look to the future, and to its 50th anniversary season in 2022.
‘A’ Town vs. Grind City
The first-ever “Finals Day” DrumLine Battle will pit two youth percussion ensembles against one another right on the 50-yard line of Lucas Oil Stadium, as the Memphis Youth Arts Initiative faces off against the Atlanta Drum Academy.
Other special guest performers on Saturday will include “The Commandant’s Own” United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps and the University of Cincinnati Bearcat Marching Band.

2021 DCI Celebration Indianapolis August 13th Schedule
Friday’s event will honor the amazing individuals who make the drum corps activity special.
Traditionally, Friday in Indianapolis signifies the presentation of awards and scholarships and the recognition of each corps’ graduating age-outs. With regard to health and safety protocols, these presentations will still take place but will be managed differently than in previous years. Age-outs will be honored on the field in blocks throughout the day of performances, so as to limit contact between performing ensembles. Those age-out recognition times will include:
- 4:56 p.m. – Colt Cadets, River City Rhythm, Gold, Music City, Genesis, Troopers, Madison Scouts, Colts
- 6:12 p.m. – The Academy, Pacific Crest, Spirit of Atlanta
- 8:18 p.m. – Phantom Regiment, Crossmen, Mandarins
- 9:58 p.m. – The Cadets, Blue Stars, Blue Knights
- 11:30 p.m. – Boston Crusaders, The Cavaliers, Bluecoats
Recognition will also be given to Drum Corps International’s 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame inductees and 2021’s scholarship award recipients.
DrumLine Jam
A special all-percussion performance is on tap for the midway point of Friday’s event, as DCI drum lines join forces to each share their talents as part of the first-ever “DrumLine Jam.” The joint performance is set to take place after a 30-minute intermission at 6:22 p.m.

2021 DCI Celebration Indianapolis August 12th Schedule
On what would traditionally be “World Championship Prelims” day, instead, Drum Corps International will dedicate Thursday to celebrating what many drum corps organizations often refer to as “history night.”
As such, Thursday will feature a variety of historical video performances from Drum Corps International member organizations like Spartans, Seattle Cascades, Jersey Surf, Blue Devils, and Santa Clara Vanguard.
And on top of the productions corps have been performing all summer, the throwback-themed day is also set to include live performances of iconic corps-specific pieces by corps like the Madison Scouts, Troopers, and Cadets.

The first 10,000 fans 18 or older through the gates at the Colts game at Lucas Oil Stadium Sunday, Dec. 9, will receive a Hoosier Lottery voucher good for a FREE shot at big cash. The Hoosier Lottery is giving away 10,000 coupons good for a FREE Cash 5 ticket.
The free Cash 5 coupons may be redeemed at the Hoosier Lottery Fun Zone located inside Lucas Oil Stadium at gate 135. Players are also welcome to take the coupons to any Hoosier Lottery retailer through December 31, 2012.
