After the first 100 shows and an 8th anniversary sold out performance, it’s time for the beginning of the 9th year of Taylor Martin’s Indy Magic Monthly (IMM).
Kicking off the ninth season of IMM is show #101, featuring Chicago’s Tevell Rose and Indianapolis’ own Jason Adams, with Dayton’s Matthew David Stanley headlining and Taylor Martin as your favorite lost hippy conjurer “Del .B Fillmore” hosting.
IMM #101 takes place on Tuesday May 3, 2016 at 7:30 PM at Theatre On The Square, Cabaret Stage, 627 Massachusetts Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46204. The lobby opens at 7 PM.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for over 61 and under 16. Family tickets are available for $55 for up to 5 (2 children please).

What do you get when you put a doctor, a NerdGician, a local conjuring legend, and a whacky producer together on one bill? You get a holiday show that is like no other in Indianapolis: Taylor Martin’s Indy Magic Monthly #80. Yes, the whacky producer himself, Taylor Martin, will do a full set for this long-running show. Come hear him sing “The Chipmunk Song” while doing a bit of rope magic.
Then see first-time performer Mark Presley,from Illinois, present his take on magic as “The NerdGician.” Mark will also do his award winning thimble magic act.
Next you’ll see Corbett Troyer, local closeup magic legend, make coins dance on his fingertips as he amazes you with his closeup wonders.
And finally, Aaron Kalinowski, a doctor who will move you with an amazing performance of the classic “Gypsy Thread” while showing how magic can put lives back together after trauma and addiction.
All of this will happen at Theatre On The Square, who is doing its run of “THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL,” which will provide the backdrop for the magic. Maybe the trailers will open up with surprises. Or maybe a visit from a bearded celebrity will happen. Who knows? During the holidays, nothing is impossible at Indy Magic Monthly.
Six years + 72 magic shows + over 100 different acts and performers = Indy Magic Monthly’s Sixth Anniversary show. Now that’s a formula for success!
For their 6th anniversary they have a huge show to celebrate, with a very special guest host on board: no other than Kevin Burke from TOTS “Defending The Caveman.” Kevin is also a great mentalist and will show some of his abilities during the show.
Two acts from Louisville will bring that great flare you’ve come to expect from IMM.
First, the Honorable Ken Abbott, magician and judge. Watch your language as our favorite barrister will perform his dead on and dead pan act.
Then is our first timer from Kentucky, Richard Ribuffo. His show is influenced by his relationship with his father and is very entertaining.
Finally, for a very rare appearance on the same billing, both Andrea Merlyn, The Queen of Magic, and Rodney The Younger, Colonial Conjurer will show their skills in legerdemain. The creations of Taylor Martin, the 2 different characters in his repertoire rarely appear on the same show. It will be magic to see what Taylor comes up with.

Indy Magic Monthly welcomes one of Indiana’s most unusual mystics, the conjurer known as Obtuse. Known not only for his magic, but for his wonderful story telling. From Kokomo, Obtuse is one of his home city’s most in demand entertainers.And coming January 16 through 20 at The Cook Theatre and The Indy Fringe Theatre, The Fourth Annual Indianapolis Winter Magic Festival, with guest of honor, Johnny Thompson — The Great Tomsoni.
At a recent magic convention in Las Vegas, a performer stepped on stage, and a legend was born.
Imagine a man who’d never been on a plane before and never had been in Las Vegas. He had worked many long hours with Joanie Spina, former director for David Copperfield, to create a world class show. His act had been reborn. And when Patrick Thernes from Cincinnati, finished his show, he got standing ovations, praise from Lance Burton and Mac King, and ended up getting an engagement at the world famous Magic Castle.
This is Sir Pat-Trick, and his last stop before Hollywood is Indiana at Indy Magic Monthly on Dec. 3rd. Don’t miss it!

The Indy Magic Monthly August shows have always featured a preview of some of the magic acts in that year’s Indy Fringe and this year is no exception.
For his first time on the Indy Magic Monthly stage we present Ulises Galeano, mentalist. Ulises is making a name for himself in Indy with his shows around town, including one at the Carmel Playhouse.
Returning to us, from Cincinnati is the very fun Sir Pat-Trick. Great routines and sleight of hand are trademarks of this rising Queen City magician.
Headlining are two regulars for Indy Magic Monthly, Ryan Siebert & Amazing Barry. Ryan will be featuring new pieces from his Indy Fringe Festival show and Barry will be setting the stage for all things magic.
Producer Taylor Martin will do a trick or two to keep the evening going. This is Taylor’s first year not doing a show for Indy Fringe, but he’s in charge of the street entertainment, so he’ll still be around the Mass. Avenue and Cook Theatre areas to make sure the magic happens.

When a magician leaves Indy and comes back, a lot of folks want to see him perform. One of the most loved magicians from Illusions Restaurant and TV 23 is just that. Steve Hart returns for one show only on July 9, 2013 for Taylor Martin’s Indy Magic Monthly @ Theatre On The Square.
Steve is a nationally known magician and entertainer and performs corporate shows all over the U.S. He is one of the most asked from magicians here in Indy and this is his first public show here in nearly 10 years.
Also appearing is another of Indy’s best known magicians, returning to the stage after many years, the legendary Trinity. Trinity has had many personal battles in the past few years, including a major struggle with cancer. This will be an amazing homecoming for both of these performers.
Joining them is the Dancing Motivator and Magician Jamahl Keyes. His last performance with IMM ended with a huge standing ovation. He’s promised a new bit of magic for the evening and we are excited to see what he’s premiering with us. Plus, Taylor Martin will MC as, well, maybe we’ll just leave that a surprise.

Due to Hurricane Sandy there was no Indy Magic Monthly Halloween Show. Francis Menotti was on his way to Indy when Sandy struck and he never got out of Philly. He now makes it to Indy for Half-O-Ween, IMM’s Halloween in March. Hey, if you can have Christmas In July, why not?
You’ll get to see Indiana’s own close-up magic master Corbett Troyer. And in his stage debut, stitched together from the body parts of various rubber nosed funny persons, Stitches Mad Clown will set you on edge.
Taylor Martin hosts as that long in the tooth hippie Del .B Fillmore, Dude of Conjuring. Door prizes, surprises, and the best and longest running magic show in Indiana history, will give you some laughs and a few Halloween chills. And we will have a costume contest with a prize package of a ticket to our 5th Anniversary show starring the world renown Eugene Burger. It includes a ticket to Eugene’s lecture after the April 2 show.

Taylor Martin’s Indy Magic Monthly and The Indy Fringe Festival present: The Third Annual Indy Fringe Winter Magic Festival at The Cook Theatre at Indiana Landmark Center, 12th and Central Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46202, January 17-20, 2013. Shows start at 6 on Thursday and Friday and 1:30 on Saturday and Sunday.

Each performer’s show is one hour long, with a half hour break between shows. Each show is a separate ticket.
