Indianapolis Trash Pickup Holiday Schedule 2025

Your trash pickup will be delayed one day on the below holidays; residents who normally have trash collected on Friday will have it picked up on Saturday.

Any holiday that falls on a weekend will not be observed; therefore, trash will be on a normal schedule.

New Year’s Day Indianapolis Trash Pickup – Wednesday, January 1, 2025

Indianapolis trash pickup will run on a slide schedule from January 1-4, 2025.

  • Wednesday trash pickup will occur on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
  • Thursday trash pickup will occur on Friday, January 3, 2025.
  • Friday trash pickup will occur on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Indianapolis Trash Pickup – Monday, January 20, 2025

Indianapolis trash pickup will run on a slide schedule for the week of January 20-25, 2025.

  • Monday trash pickup will occur on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
  • Tuesday trash pickup will occur on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
  • Wednesday trash pickup will occur on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
  • Thursday trash pickup will occur on Friday, January 24, 2025.
  • Friday trash pickup will occur on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

Presidents’ Day Indianapolis Trash Pickup – Monday, February 17, 2025

Indianapolis trash pickup will run on a normal schedule for the week of February 17-21, 2025.

Memorial Day Indianapolis Trash Pickup – Monday, May 26, 2025

Indianapolis trash pickup will run on a slide schedule for the week of May 26-31, 2025.

  • Monday trash pickup will occur on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
  • Tuesday trash pickup will occur on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
  • Wednesday trash pickup will occur on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
  • Thursday trash pickup will occur on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Juneteenth Indianapolis Trash Pickup – Thursday, June 19, 2025

Indianapolis trash pickup will run on a slide schedule June 19-21, 2025.

Independence Day Indianapolis Trash Pickup – Friday, July 5, 2025
