Indianapolis 500 2025: Practice Day 2 Schedule, Tickets & Parking for May 14

Get ready for an exciting day of track action at the 109th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway! Here’s everything you need to know about the practice session and event details:

Schedule (All Times Local)

  • 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.: Public gates open
  • 10 a.m. – Noon: Indianapolis 500 Refresher Tests
  • Noon – 6 p.m.: Practice (all cars)

Tickets

  • General Admission: $25
  • Access: Move freely between IMS infield viewing mounds and enjoy first-come, first-served access to selected grandstands for multiple vantage points of the racing action.

Public Gates Open (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

  • Gates: Gate 1, Gate 2, Gate 4, Gate 6S, Gate 7, Gate 7S, Gate 10, Gate 10A

Parking

  • Free Public Parking: Available in Turn 3 and Lot 7 (North 40)
  • Free Motorcycle Parking: South Carousel Lot
  • ADA Accessible Parking: West Museum Lot, Flag Lot, Tower Lot, Northwest Gravel Lot, and Lot 7 (North 40)

Cashless Operations

Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a cashless facility. Be prepared to use debit/credit cards or tap-to-pay phone payments for tickets, parking, concessions, and merchandise.

  • Cash-to-Card Machines: Convert cash to a temporary debit card at the IMS Museum, Pagoda Plaza, or outside Turn 1 by concessions stand 7. These cards can be used inside/outside the venue or anywhere Mastercard/Visa debit cards are accepted.

IMS Museum

  • Hours: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Admission:
    • General: $25
    • Seniors (55+): $23
    • Military (Active/Former): $18
  • Purchase Tickets: Online at IMS Museum Tickets
  • Note: Gate admission is required in addition to Museum admission.
