Oscar Mayer’s Wienermobiles Race in Inaugural Wienie 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Hot dog fans, get ready for a sizzling spectacle! Oscar Mayer is bringing its iconic fleet of six Wienermobiles to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first-ever Wienie 500 on Friday, May 23, 2025. This one-of-a-kind race, streamed live at 2 p.m. ET on the FOX Sports app and @INDYCARonFOX social accounts, will see the Wienermobiles compete on the same track as the pros, just ahead of the 109th Indianapolis 500. Highlights will air during the Indy 500 pre-race show on FOX.

For the first time in over a decade, all six Wienermobiles will “meat up,” each representing a regional hot dog style: Chi Dog (Midwest), New York Dog (East), Slaw Dog (Southeast), Sonoran Dog (Southwest), Chili Dog (South), and Seattle Dog (Northwest). With custom Hotdogger racing suits, a trophy presentation in the “Wiener’s Circle,” and a condiment spray celebration, the Wienie 500 promises to deliver smiles and summer fun.
