Gen Con Announces 2026 Registration Dates and Badge Prices

Indianapolis, Indiana – Gen Con, North America’s largest tabletop gaming convention, announced registration details for its 2026 event today. The convention will take place from July 30 to August 2 at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium.

Badges for Gen Con 2026 will go on sale on February 8 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time through the official website, gencon.com. Attendees can expect a wide range of activities, including thousands of ticketed in-person events, a sold-out Exhibit Hall, and an outdoor Block Party with live music and food options.

Badge prices for Gen Con 2026 are as follows:

  • A 4-day badge will cost $164
  • Single-day badges:
    • Thursday — $83
    • Friday — $83
    • Saturday — $112
    • Sunday — $41
  • Trade Day badge — $302

Hotel registration for discounted rooms in the Gen Con housing block will begin on February 22, while event registration for ticketed events will open on May 17.
