The 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 shattered financial records with an unprecedented total purse of $30,906,400. The massive figure represents an explosion of more than 50% compared to the 2025 prize pool.
Race winner Felix Rosenqvist secured a record-breaking individual payday, taking home $4,340,500 for his victory at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Due to the massive purse increase, a record 22 drivers cleared the $1 million mark for their performance in the 200-lap classic.
Prize distribution totals factor in base finishing positions, qualifying bonuses, laps led, sponsor incentives, and Leaders Circle adjustments. Lower payouts for certain entries generally reflect differences in team contingency structures or Leaders Circle eligibility. Mick Schumacher captured Rookie of the Year honors, which included a $50,000 bonus.
