
The NTT INDYCAR SERIES returns to the Streets of Detroit this weekend, May 29-31, for the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear. Drivers will navigate the 1.645-mile, nine-turn temporary street course in a 100-lap contest to determine the next winner in the Motor City.

Series Notes
- Detroit History: This event marks the fourth INDYCAR SERIES race on the current downtown circuit and the 36th in the city. Scott Dixon leads active drivers with four career wins in Detroit.
- Championship Correlation: Historically, the Detroit race winner often contends for the season title. The eventual season champion has won in Detroit eight times, including Alex Palou (2023), Josef Newgarden (2019), and Scott Dixon (2018).
- INDY NXT Title Fight: Nikita Johnson enters the weekend leading the standings, but the field remains tight. Just 16 points separate the top four in the championship, including Tymek Kucharczyk, Enzo Fittipaldi, and Max Taylor.
