Brickyard Weekend Friday Schedule: Practice Times, Tickets, and Parking

Friday Track Activity: Brickyard Weekend at IMS

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has released the schedule and fan information for Friday, July 24, kicking off NASCAR’s Brickyard Weekend.

Track Schedule (All Times Local)

  • 9 a.m.: Outside parking lots open
  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Public gates open
  • Noon-12:50 p.m.: Pennzoil 250 Presented by Take 5 Oil Change (O’Reilly Series) practice
  • 1-1:50 p.m.: Brickyard 400 Presented by PPG (Cup Series) practice

Tickets and Entry

  • General Admission: $25
  • Children 15 and under: Admitted free with a paying adult
  • Public Gates Open: Gate 1, Gate 2, Gate 4, Gate 6S, Gate 7, Gate 7S, Gate 10, and Gate 10A

Parking Guide

  • Free Parking: Lot 7 (North 40) and the Turn 3 infield
  • Free Motorcycle Parking: South Carousel lot
  • Free ADA Parking: Lot 7 (North 40) and the infield in the Tower, Flag, and West Museum lots
  • Paid Parking: Lot 2 ($10 for standard and ADA parking)

Facility Operations

  • Cashless Operations: Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a fully cashless facility. Be prepared to complete your ticket, credentials, parking, concession, and merchandise purchases with a debit card, credit card, or tap-to-pay phone payment.
  • IMS Museum (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.): Guests must have or purchase an IMS gate admission ticket to visit the museum. General admission is $25, seniors (55 and over) are $23, and military (former and active) are $18. Tickets can be purchased online at the IMS Museum website.
